A sustainable building can help reduce operating costs, increase tenant satisfaction, and enhance the overall value of the property. The commercial space at The Globe has put sustainability at the forefront, taking numerous steps to ensure that the building meets the highest standards.

The building is strategically located taking advantage of the site’s solar orientation and natural ventilation to reduce energy usage. The design of the building is both functional and sustainable including materials, such as low-VOC paints and sustainable wood to minimise the environmental impact of construction.

Maximising natural light the building will reduce the need for artificial lighting further reducing energy usage. The addition of solar panels will generate clean energy.

The use of high efficiency, HVAC systems, LED lighting and water efficient fixtures will reduce energy and water usage. The building is also equipped with a rainwater harvesting system to reduce its reliance on municipal water.

End-of-trip facilities will be an essential component of The Globe’s commercial space. Facilities will be designed to provide building occupants with a convenient and secure location to park their bikes, change into work clothes, and freshen up before starting their workday. This will help encourage tenants to cycle or walk to work, reducing their reliance on cars and helping to reduce the building's carbon footprint.
